Freedom Church is an independent, non-denominational church seeking to fulfill the great
commission as Jesus stated in Matt. 28:16-20. Our focus is to lead souls to Christ, help the
Christian to maturity, spread the Gospel throughout our community, and to glorify God, in the full
power of the Holy Spirit according to The Lord’s calling and the Holy Spirit’s anointing, in our
lives.
The mission of the Facebook and Website of the Freedom Ministry Church is to use the vehicle of
the Internet as a means through which the Word of Jesus Christ may be heard; thereby drawing
to our church locals in need of a church fellowship and seekers looking for answers, and to
present the Gospel to all who visit this site.
We offer several opportunities to receive and partake in the gospel message including Sunday praise and worship services, mid-week bible study for all ages (including children and youth programs), community outreach events, and more. Our goal is to provide a safe and welcoming culture for all who seek guidance and support in a christian environment.
At Freedom Church our mission is to share the love of Christ and truth through Biblical teachings. We believe that everyone deserves to feel the love of God and our goal is to make that possible for as many people as we can.
STATEMENT OF VISION
Our vision rest in understanding of the mandate from Christ to all believers in the Great Commission.
At Freedom Church to fulfill this vision we will:
1. Be a body committed to the authority of Holy Scripture for faith and direction.
2. A fellowship whose worship allows God’s power into the life of the church and extends that power through the lives of believers into our community.
3. A body that is directed by the Spirit, fully understanding that baptism in the Holy Spirit is both a personal blessing and an endowment of power for witness and service in fulfilling the Great Commission.
4. A congregation that hungers and thirst for God’s presence and stands in awe of His holiness as He transforms believers into Christ like vessels.
5. A New Testament church which focuses on the local congregation where the pastor nurtures and leads all members to exercise spiritual gifts in ministry.
6. A church that loves all people and stands opposed to any action or policy that discriminates against any group or individual because of race, color, or nationality.
7. A body demonstrating love and concern for the hurts and loneliness of the unsaved through evangelism, discipleship, and nurturing ministries.
8. A church that is Christ-centered, people-oriented, and need sensitive in all its programs and ministries.
9. A ministry that promotes policies with a sincere effort to remain relevant to all generations.
WE BELIEVE:
Freedom Church believes the whole Bible to be completely and equally inspired and that it is the written Word of God. Freedom Ministry York SC (also known as Freedom Church York SC) has adopted the following Declaration of Faith as its doctrine.
